Our vibrant community at Capital Quilters invites you to join our monthly meetings held on the last Saturday of every month at 1.30pm. Hosted at Waterloo School Hall in Lower Hutt, these gatherings are perfect for anyone passionate about crafts, especially quilting. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced quilter, our meetings offer a welcoming space to learn, share, and create stunning textile art. Each session lasts around 60 minutes, giving you plenty of time to connect with like-minded individuals and dive into the world of quilting.

From swapping tips on intricate stitching techniques to showcasing your latest projects, there’s something for everyone aged 18 and above. We cater to a wide range of age groups, from young adults (18-29) to seniors (65+), fostering a diverse and supportive environment. Best of all, attending is free for your first two visits as a visitor, after which we encourage you to join as a member. These meetings aren’t just about crafts; they’re about building friendships, sparking creativity, and becoming part of a tight-knit community. Imagine spending your Saturday afternoon surrounded by inspiring designs and warm conversations! 🧵✂️

Why not bring along your current quilting project or simply come to observe? Our members are always eager to share their knowledge and help you refine your skills. Beyond the monthly meetings, Capital Quilters also hosts the In Stitches club sewing day on the third Wednesday of each month at 9.30am at Studio 9, Hutt Art Society, Myrtle Street, Lower Hutt.
