Every Saturday from September to May, we open our doors to visitors of all ages, inviting you to try your hand at target shooting with expert guidance. Whether you’re new to gun sports or looking to refine your skills, our club offers a friendly and competitive environment. The first session is free, with a small charge for ammunition, and we provide club rifles and equipment for hire at a low cost—no firearms licence needed to start. Sessions typically begin at 1 pm and last around 180 minutes, giving ample time to enjoy the activity. Our range and clubrooms, located at the corner of Freyberg Road and Alexander Road, are easily accessible. Arrive around 1 pm on Saturdays for shooting (confirm timing via the WRA Shooting Programme) and park near other shooters’ cars, or visit after 4:30 pm to chat with members.
