Every Saturday from September to May, we welcome visitors to try their hand at target shooting at our range in Trentham, Upper Hutt, Wellington. This activity, perfect for all ages, offers a fantastic opportunity to engage in a sport that’s inclusive of men, women, boys, and girls. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or a curious beginner, our club provides a supportive environment to learn and compete. The first afternoon’s shooting is free, with only a small charge for ammunition used. We also have club rifles and equipment available for hire at a minimal fee, and no firearms licence is required to start. Sessions typically kick off at 1 pm, but we advise checking the WRA Shooting Programme for exact timings. Each session lasts around 180 minutes, giving you plenty of time to immerse yourself in the sport.
