Space Programme – Supporting You and Your Baby
Avonhead Community Trust is pleased to offer the Space programme from Parenting Place, designed to support you and your baby throughout the first year while building meaningful connections with other parents. Starting Monday, 4 May 2026 (9:45am – 12:00pm), this 20-week programme provides a safe, facilitated environment to explore parenting and your baby’s development. Sessions cover topics such as sleep, attachment, brain development, play, attunement and reflective parenting, alongside music, books and play experiences.
Venue: Avonhead Baptist Church, 102 Avonhead Road, Avonhead, Christchurch
Best suited for: Babies born between December 2025 and March 2026, parents of any age welcome
Cost: $90 total ($50 payable to Parenting Place at booking, balance to Avonhead Community Trust)
